Privacy policy
1. The short version
You can read this site without an account, and we have no newsletter. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share your personal information. Our host keeps short-lived server logs, we count visits with privacy-friendly analytics, and Amazon sets its own cookies once you click through to it. If you use our contact form, we use what you send only to reply.

3. Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., records technical data your browser sends with every request: browser type and version, operating system, referring page, time of the request and IP address. We need this to run the site securely and to fix faults. We do not combine these logs with any other data.
4. Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and a self-hosted copy of Umami to count page views, see which outbound links people click and measure loading speed. None of them set cookies or store your IP address, so we cannot identify you from them. Find out more inVercel's privacy policy.
5. Affiliate links (Amazon)
This site takes part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click one of our Amazon links, you leave this site and Amazon may set cookies to record that the visit came from us, so it can pay us a commission. We never see who you are or what you buy. 6. Other stores
Links to the makers' own stores currently carry no tracking code. If we add affiliate links for other stores, we will update this page first.
7. Contact form
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email through our mail provider, Resend. We use them only to reply and delete the thread once the matter is closed.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold on you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act give you these rights by law, and we honor them for every visitor. Send your request through our contact form and we reply within 30 days.
9. Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
